Happy relaxing Sunday everyone, what's the weather like where you are? it is not very good here in Suffolk one minute its sunny the next it rains, but Dylan and i have still managed to get out for a lovely walk along the beach and had a nice play around in the garden whilst nanny and grandad do a spot of gardening.

I have even got my Sunday best on today, my new pink and girly t-shirt dress that my mumma got me earlier this week for being such a good girl following my operation.

Dylan isnt in the good books today, we were walking along the beach earlier this morning when he ran off to sniff around the old boats, this is nothing unusual for Dylan as he does love to have a good sniff. We carried on walking and calling him, then the wind wafted the most lovely smell towards us and when i looked it was Dylan running towards us, he was covered in sand and had quite clearly rolled in something great, wish i had followed him now. The humans were not quite so taken by the smell though infact he didnt even get a treat for coming back they just kept saying he was naughty and needed a bath, i never understand that about our humans, we search and search for the perfect smell to roll in and then as soon as we cover ourselves in it they take us home and wash it all off........ very odd!!
So when we got home Dylan had the dreaded bath experience to contend with, not that i joined in, i just watched from the door way, although i did help out when he was drying off by licking his paws.
Anyway i better get off now as our Great Nan and Grandpops Fred have just turned up and they always bring us a treat.

Yay check out my Rosette's, they arrived in the post and mum is going to make me a special board to pin them up :)

Well what an exciting week we have had.
Not only did i get the all clear from the vets after my 10 days taking it easy following my op, then the excitement of starting my training for my Silver Award but the most exciting news we had was from Theodore at Chelsea Dogs.  After getting to know each other on Twitter Theodore and his humans asked if they could send us a little present from Chelsea to enjoy and then review on our blog, of course we were more than happy to join in and do our bit for our new K9 friend.

On Wednesday mumma arrived home from work and after retrieving the post realised that there was a little purple package addressed to Dylan and Daisy. Dylan followed me to the hallway "this must be it Daisy the package from Theodore", after fighting over who would open the parcel inside was a little note and a beautifully wrapped present with pretty 'Chelsea Dogs' ribbon. Mum helped us untie the wrapping, she was really impressed by how lovely everything looked, inside was a lovely little toy that had my name written all over it, a very girly pink shoe with the wording "Alexandra Mutt Queen" on the front. I dont know what that means but mumma and nanny found it pretty funny. Also enclosed was a small box of something called Breakfast Crunch, it didnt take us long to realise this was edible. Dylan and I were very excited by our parcel and i couldnt resist pinching the shoe, it was just my size, just my colour and oh so much fun to play with especially when i found the squeaker inside!

Daisy's New Toy

This toy is my new favourite, it is girly and just the right size for me to carry around with me, also the humans find it funny which is always a bonus! Very well made infact i have been playing with it for a couple of days now and it still looks the same as when it arrived which isnt usually the case. With the fun squeaker inside this really is a great toy for a small dog like myself to have, and even though its pink, Dylan has been caught having a sneaky play with it too.

Described as delicious nuggets of goodness, these packets of breakfast crunch are beautifully packaged in a recyclable box containing all of the nutritional and promotional information you would expect to see on a quality product.
100% fresh meat, omega 3&6, great for teeth with probiotic yoghurt and botanical herbs.

Now we are two very fussy dogs and sometimes you can put our favourite meal infront of us and we will turn our noses up. However, when mum opened the packet of breakfast crunch although the smell wasnt too strong it was enough to get our noses twitching. I am a bit more brave than Dylan so curiously i munched away at a couple of the nuggets and they were woofilicious, i even jumped up her leg for more. Dylan held back to see what i thought but then decided to try them for himself and i have to say between us, over the course of the day there arent too many left so this is a very good result from two small, fussy dogs and we would certainly recommend to our K9 friends.

A bit more about Chelsea Dogs

Chelsea dogs is a online dog boutique, with one of the best selections we have seen for luxurious accessories for your k9 friend and your home. They also provide professional services including dog walking, dog day care, pet taxi and other pet care services within Kensington and Chelsea London. But when we think is extra special about them is that they source the majority of their products here in Britain to help support small, growing businesses.

Thanks again to Chelsea Dogs for our lovely gifts, we will certainly be adding them to our favourites and keeping in touch with Theodore too!

To all the K9 and Human Daddies out there, we hope you had a lovely day and have been spoilt rotten, I know ours was!
The sun has been shining and after watching dad open his presents we started our day in the garden, dad had a lovely fried breakfast, the best part of this being that we got the left overs, i do love a bit of bacon in the morning.
Then Uncle Jamie came round with the little lad Bailey, although i like to call him 'ankle chaser' i love to chase him round the garden but he only has two legs so i can always catch him and pull at his trousers, he thinks its pretty good fun too. We played in the garden for most of the morning chasing and throwing balls around, all the humans wanted to do was hit them in the air with these long sticks, it was really enjoying though as Dylan and i cannot jump that high, so in the end we left them to it and did a spot of sunbathing (luckily i have fur so dont have to have suncream like Dylan).
Around lunch time we started to get a bit excited as mumma Hannah appeared with our collar's and leads and everyone put on their feet things to go out, i still cant work out why they spend ages tying these feet strings before they go outside when we just trot along on bear paws, strange! Anyway where was i.....
Dad had his new top on and even the ankle chaser came in his chair on wheels so i knew we must be going somewhere good, but i would never have guessed the next part!
We arrived at our usual walking spot the beach, but it was much busier than normal, lots of dogs and even more ankle chaser's with their humans, but mumma wouldnt let me chase these ones, we had to stay on our leads!! Something weird was going on.
We then had to visit this table with lots of nice ladies wanting pay us attention which we thought was great but kept getting told off when we wanted to talk back. At this point Dylan and i glanced at each other as we realised that they were signing us into a fun dog show, the categories were Dylan as the Most Handsome Dog and Daisy as the Prettiest Bitch...... Well i love Dylan and he loves me so surely that means we have won - Yay! Oh no, we had to wait our turn and follow lots of other dogs and their mum's and Dad's around this little fence, which was pretty scary as there were crowds of humans everywhere watching us so we had to be on our best behaviour.
Dylan was lucky enough to get through to the final line up for most handsome dog but didnt get a winning place, and unfortunately i didnt get anywhere in my category although mumma said not to worry its all fun and for a good cause, but i think secretly they would have liked us to get a prize, we were just happy to escape.
But that wasnt the end of it, all of a sudden they started putting clothes on us ready for what they call fancy dress, i thought it was great and just like what we have to do at home when mumma is making us new clothes. I was dressed as a Geisha Gal and Dylan as a Norwich Footballer, but we were not lucky enough to win anything for this one either but it was good fun anyway.

This show lark is pretty tiring though, we headed home back to the garden for a
nice BBQ and i have been asleep on the sofa ever since.
Anyway thought i would tell you about our fun Dad's day.
We would love to hear what you got up to with your dad's?
Right i think ill go annoy Dylan for a bit before bedtime.

Hello K9 followers, I am recovering well following my op on Friday, with plenty of rest and cuddles from my mumma!

For those of you that didnt already know i had to go to that doggy hospital place to have something my mumma calls spaying, i know im not great at understanding the whole human talk as yet but even my big bro Dylan was confused when i didnt come home Friday morning.

It was a horrible day from the start i sensed that my mum was rather sad and i couldnt see why, no matter how much i snuggled her and nibbled her ears she still didnt seem any better. The next thing i know we are packed into the car with my favourite banklet (actually its my mums fleecy jumper that i claimed the first night i spent with her) and it was like we were going on a little adventure, although something wasnt quite right as Dylan wasnt there, we dont usually leave him behind!
We arrived at this really cool place with lots of smells and people who wanted to pay me lots of attention, but suddenly my mum handed me to this lady along with my blanket and she started to walk away from me........  my ming was racing, where is she going? doesnt she want me anymore?
The rest is a bit of a blur, i can remember people talking to me and lots of other dogs whining and shouting but i couldnt make out what they were saying, they also seemed distressed and there were no mums in sight, all i knew was i really didnt want to be there long, and i needed the toilet A LOT!

The next thing i know im dizzy, wobbly and generally feel a bit off colour, but this very nice lady kept coming and talking to me, and wiping my bottom (sorry about that, must have been the nerves). I tried to close my eyes and sleep but it was very hard with all the other dogs shouting.
Eventually the very nice lady cleaned me up again but this time lifted my through to another room and put on my collar and lead, i reluctantly followed her down the corridor but kept feeling this tight, twitching pain in my tummy which made me stop. The only thing that kept me going were the words mummy, she kept saying lets go see your mummy, so i followed her and there they were my mumma and nanna waiting for me, my natural K9 instinct was to frantically rush for attention but they stopped me pretty quick. I didnt mind, i had my mum back, so she did want me after all.
It wasnt long before i was back home again in my familiar surroundings with my big bro Dylan who kept his distance to start with, he just kept sniffing me and then disappearing again. I drifted in and out of sleep that night and every move i made there was mum lifting me on and off things and keeping me warm it was lovely.

Its now two days on and mum is still everywhere i turn i love her to bits but i just want to run and play with Dylan and she keeps stopping me, telling me to calm down. I am trying hard to stay calm but i have so much energy i want to use up and we arent even going on walks at the moment, just on my lead in the garden which is very boring as i dont even get to dig in the mud!! Dylan has tried to explain to me that it is just something a lot of puppies need to go through and its actually quite good for girls, as it means that when i get bigger i wont get chased by all the other boy dogs, so i guess its worth it.

Mum has told me that i have to visit that lady again tomorrow, i think she said her name was Vet, so ill let you know how i get on.

Love and Licks Daisy xx
