Hey everyone, im really happy as i have got my mumma at home with me today. We went for a walk this morning with Dylan and Nanna but not long after we left mumma said the heavens opened, i dont know what she meant by this but what i do know is i got VERY wet!!!
I dont mind getting wet when we go out for a walk, infact i like all the muddy puddles, it even changes the colour of my paws which is pretty cool. But my big bro Dylan is not so keen, he doesnt have hair on his back like me so complains that it makes his t-shirt stick to his back - yuk!

After a dry off, breakfast and playtime with Dylan mumma had to get her laptop thingy out to do some work, so said i could lay with her and watch a movie. I picked one with a K9 on the front she said it was called 'Marley and Me' and it has just finished.

Wow that film is cool, Marley is so naughty in the beginning, he did things i never even thought of trying, but its also pretty sad because he gets old and poorly at the end.

But i just had to share with you this quote that the human says at the end of the film, at which point my mumma cuddled me and said she loved me so much, i think you will like it!

"A dog has no use for fancy cars, big homes, or designer clothes. A water log
stick will do just fine. A dog doesn't care if your rich or poor, clever or
dull, smart or dumb. Give him your heart and he'll give you his"
Marley and Me

This really is true, i may only have 6 months experience but i have to agree i never look at what my mumma's wearing, if she has done her hair or how much money she spends on my biscuits, I love her the same every day. And i think its the same for her, it doesnt matter if i chew her clothes or pee on her floor she still picks me up shows me the right way and loves me just the same.

Now going to pull at her jumper and see if she will take me for a walk.

Well its been a few weeks in the making but we have finally managed to tie Mummy Hannah to a chair and get her to write our first opening blog post.
She has been busy working on the pages and uploading photos and is now happy with how things look, enough to make us public. I dont really know what this means but i know it involves alot of posing in front of a camera so im not complaining.
As you will see from the 'about us' section of our site my name is Dylan (the one on the right) i am a Chinese Crested and currently 4 years young. I have a fantastic family and i must say a rather luxurious lifestyle which i now share with my partner in crime Daisy (the one on the left) a very cute and lively Chihuahua, she has only been living with us since the end of February which doesnt sound long but she is still a pup at only 25 weeks.

I must say that i never wanted another dog in the house, i struggled enough not to have a grumble when i met the neighbourhood K9's in the street, but i can honestly say Daisy is my best friend and i now couldnt imagine my days lounging on the sofa without her. So this is our blog all about Daisy joining the family, growing up together and being a family. We will try to update things frequently as we have so much more to tell, but we do have to rely on the humans to type this up, i havent quite mastered the laptop yet! I am sure there will be plenty of embarrassing photos, some funny adventures and loads of tales to tell so we hope you enjoy our blog and visit us often.

Love and lick's Dylan (Daisy is taking a kip right now) xx
