We just stumbled across this adorable story on dailymail.co.uk a baby meerkat (now called Wilson) which was expected to die after being abandoned by its mother is now being reared by an unusual adoptive mother - a pet Chihuahua!
I know it sounds crazy but the Meerkat was born in January and being the runt of the litter was deserted by its mother.

The owner of Mablethorpe Seal and animal Sanctuary, in Lincolnshire had the idea of introducing him to a colleague's pet Chihuahua called Kimi. Who was having some troubles of her own, going through a phantom pregnancy, within days Wilson became bigger and stronger and Kimi took over as his mother believing the meerkat was her own puppy, and she has reared him as her own ever since. Wilson has even begun to show signs of acting like a dog and likes human attention and even sits on the sofa to watch TV.

Such a lovely story and they look so adorable together! To see more photos of the duo and read more about their story click here and you will be taken to the article at Dailymail.co.uk

Quick Question..........Mum, can we adopt a Meerkat......PLEASE??!??

Dylan and I are rather fascinated by by human's dying their pooches, and i think one day i will have to give it a go. But we have discovered via theguardian.com the most fantastic artwork and believe it or not its in the form of a K9.
Check out these fantastic stars of a canine gromming competition in America, where the wackiest looking pets were in with a chance of winning up to $5,000.
